Blankets 01:26
I feel these blankets roll off. I feel you moving in the night: Your toes, your hands, a tiny cough. "You good?" "Everything's fine..." Your nose, my nose, a glint of eyes. A mouth, my mouth lets out a sigh, A sign of my aggravation: "I don't think it's alright..." An out-of-body question: "What has this all meant?" She says just go back to bed, and then he makes himself go back to bed.

Transience 03:40
I made it home for thanksgiving for the first time in years. The house seems so much smaller than it used to. 4+1 doesn't feel natural, And the kitchen’s never empty anymore. Answering questions about what I did this year — Made an off-handed comment about object impermanence, A shallow exploration of the November moon, And its slow trace across the sky. I try to remember the better times, But this year keeps on slipping by. Telling some old story about a friend Who goes to art school. How hard it seemed, How thankful I am to have met her. But it's seeming each day that I had become delusional. Is a month enough to tell after all? Try to remember the better times. But this year keeps on slipping by... This year keeps on slipping by.

Manual 04:32
This is how we found ourselves. This is how we made the motions. 19, In this scene, Learning to love each other. I was with Charlie, and you were hiding in the closet, but this is how you form a friendship and make it last forever. Find the storm On the porch. Whiskey breath to sing the chorus, Then a pregnant pause, Exploring every facet of our being, and the nature of our savior. And this is my manual… This is my manual. Speak a language of our own Not glyphs or letters written down, but Images in our heads of when We spoke in present tense, The reverberations that formed our sound. And this is my manual… This is my manual. Of course One would assume... A message stopped halfway through Marks an invitation. But I’ll wait patiently Thus says the manual. Not very useful...
